Humanitarian & Government
Humanitarian and government operations
A registered United Nations vendor, flying agency, donor and government movements into Kenya, South Sudan and Somalia since TBC.
Field movement is a different problem from air travel. The destination often has no terminal, no fuel, no fire cover and no dependable surface, and the people who need to reach it are working to a security window rather than a schedule. That is the work this company was built around.
Yellow Wings operates four Cessna Caravans out of Nairobi Wilson into more than 500 airfields. We hold a Kenya Civil Aviation Authority Air Operator Certificate, Tanzanian foreign operator approval, an ARGUS rating and US$20 million of combined legal liability cover placed with London underwriters. We are registered directly with the United Nations as a vendor. TBC
How we contract
- Ad hoc charter — single movements, priced per sector
- Dedicated aircraft with based crew — an aircraft positioned where your programme runs
- Standby capacity — an aircraft held available against a call-off
